Responsibilities:
- Test Planning and Design:
- Collaborate with senior testers and developers to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Contribute to test planning and design efforts, outlining test cases and scenarios for different functionalities.
- Test Execution:
- Execute test cases, ensuring comprehensive coverage of software features.
- Identify and report defects, working closely with the development team to facilitate their resolution.
- Perform regression testing to validate bug fixes and ensure software stability.
- Documentation:
- Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test summary reports.
- Document and communicate test results to stakeholders.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure a collaborative and efficient testing process.
- Participate in regular team meetings to discuss testing progress and challenges.
- Learning and Development:
- Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing.
- Participate in training programs to enhance testing skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and processes.
- Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow processes.
